Meet our Staff

Rachael Badt
Executive Director

Rachael Badt became Executive Director of MTEF beginning in August 2021. Rachael comes to MTEF after 16 years with BBYO-Wisconsin Region where she was Senior Regional Director. She along with her husband Marty and daughter Millie have made the North Shore their home.

Rachael is joining the organization at the perfect time to launch our fall programming and enhance our model of youth development programs. Her experience working with teenagers will be invaluable to MTEF's ability to reach more youth in meaningful ways. As schools prepare to meet again in session, MTEF with Rachael at the helm will be poised to offer opportunities for youth to play-to-learn and learn-to-play.

Dusan Medan
Tennis Director

Dusan joined MTEF in March 2023. Beside being the MTEF Tennis Director he is also the Associate Head Coach for both the Marquette University Tennis Teams.

He graduated from Marquette in 2010 and was a member of the Marquette men's tennis program from 2007-2010. He is the most decorated singles player in program history with 88 wins and is a two-time All-BIG EAST selection. He topped at #64 in the NCAA rankings during his time at Marquette.

After graduating from Marquette, he traveled back to Serbia where he worked in hotel management before he began coaching tennis. In his coaching career, Dusan has worked with some of the top junior players in Serbia, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. In 2011, he was the High-Performance Junior Development Coach for the Zivkovic Tennis Academy. From 2012 to 2014 he worked at Topspin Racquet and Swim Club as the Junior Tennis Director, and from 2014 to 2017 he worked and the Junior Development Director for Western Racquet Club. He has earned his coaching certificate from the Serbian Tennis Association.

Dusan and his wife Sofija, live in Bay View and have a 2-year-old daughter and new baby on the way.
